Job Context:
∎ Teachers/Activities Coordinator wanted for Senior Section English & Social Studies for an established English Medium School in Shantinagar, Dhaka.
∎ Senior Section (only Female)
∎ Subjects: English Language, English Literature, Social Studies
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct classes in accordance with the syllabus and academic guidelines of the school.
∎ Preparing lesson plans, teaching materials and actively involved in developing curriculum.
∎ Ensuring that students are actually engaged in meaningful learning experiences.
∎ Must have effective classroom management skills and strategies.
∎ Giving feedback about the performance of the students and their activities to the authority.
∎ Observing, recording and reporting on the behaviour of individual students as assigned.
∎ Communicating effectively both orally and in writing with students, parents, and other professionals.
∎ Implementing the day-to-day program under the direction of the Principal / Coordinator.
∎ Performing all academic responsibilities like student's assessment, parents interaction and other duties as the position requires;
∎ Coordinating school level cultural and academic competitions & activities.
∎ Maintaining a professional attitude and loyalty to the institution at all times.
∎ Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 3 to 4 year (s) teaching in a school environment (no tutors)
∎ Experience in managing school cultural activities and academic competitions.
∎ Computer Literacy in MS Office, Ability to teach using online platforms (Zoom, Google Classrooms)
∎ High level of proficiency in English
