Job Responsibilities:
∎ Duties towards the school:
∎ To attend and participate in all faculty meetings and general assemblies.
∎ To take all necessary safety and precautionary measures to protect students, equipment, materials and facilities.
∎ To supervise students out of the classroom and be responsible for maintaining that area as assigned by the administration.
∎ To assist in upholding school rules and administrative regulations inside and outside the classroom.
∎ To accept responsibility fore xtra-curricular activities assigned by the administration.
∎ To participate in relevant in-service programs, to take courses to upgrade instructional level, staff development and to maintain license/certification.
∎ In coordination with the HOD, ensure resources are current; support the curriculum and the IB programme guidelines.
∎ Collaborate with course alike teachers to ensure consistent curriculum and assessments for students regardless of section or teacher.
∎ Student related duties:
∎ To demonstrate skills in the subject area taught.
∎ Develop long and short-range plans for instruction. Show written evidence of preparation for classes, both long and short-range.
∎ To vary instructional techniques and use differentiated instructional materials to suit learning styles, motivation levels, needs and capabilities of the students.
∎ To assess student achievement levels using both formative and summative assessments based on the material covered in class.
∎ To develop and implement a classroom management scheme that emphasizes a tidy and orderly classroom learning environment.
∎ To assess and evaluate student's abilities, record grades, check and register attendance, send Progress Reports to parents, enter grades on report cards and Manage bac as specified by the administration.
∎ To consult with counseling and advancement center regarding individual student problems.
∎ To keep accurate and complete written records of parent conferences, student conferences, behavior discipline incidents and extra student assistance
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years
∎ Must have good oral and written communication skill in English
