Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Design engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and the students' proficiency levels.
∎ Develop teaching materials such as handouts, presentations, and digital resources.
∎ Teach Chinese language skills including speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
∎ Use a variety of teaching methods (e.g., interactive lessons, multimedia tools, games, etc.) to facilitate language learning.
∎ Provide instructions in grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and Chinese culture.
∎ Prepare and administer tests, quizzes, and assignments to evaluate students’ progress.
∎ Provide timely feedback and grades on students’ performance.
∎ Adjust teaching methods based on individual or group needs.
∎ Teach students about Chinese culture, history, and customs to enhance language learning.
∎ Organize cultural activities such as Chinese festivals, music, or calligraphy classes.
∎ Create a positive learning environment.
∎ Manage classroom behavior and maintain discipline.
