Experience:

The Role:
As SVP / EVP / SEVP – Business Development (Sales) & Trading, you will be responsible for:
Driving revenue growth across trading, brokerage, and client acquisition
Leveraging and expanding an existing high-quality client base (HNI, institutional, active traders)
Setting the commercial and trading culture of the firm
Acting as a senior market voice internally and externally on market structure, liquidity, and investor behavior
Partnering with research, risk, and technology teams to build credible, scalable trading solutions
Mentoring senior and mid-level teams to create long-term leadership depth
Playing an active role in capital market development, not just firm-level growth
This is a P&L-aware, market-facing, leadership role with real influence.
Who We’re Looking For:
This role is not suitable for someone looking for a comfortable title or a short-term revenue play.
We are looking for someone who has:
15+ years of experience in capital markets (brokerage, trading, institutional sales, or related areas)
A strong, verifiable existing client base with durable relationships
Deep understanding of:
-Equity markets and trading behavior
-Client segmentation (retail, HNI, institutional)
-Market cycles, liquidity dynamics, and risk
Proven ability to build trust, not just close transactions
A reputation for integrity, professionalism, and market credibility
High internal drive, energy, and ownership mindset
A genuine belief that Bangladesh’s capital markets can and must be better
