Job Context:
∎ Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is a non-government development organization founded in 1958 by Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah, an eminent educationist, reformer and Sufi with the aim of social and spiritual development of entire human community. DAM has been contributing for the betterment of the disadvantaged population through operating 35 institutions and also 8 sectors of development. Health & WASH Sector is one of the core sectors of DAM which has also been operating 9 institutions and 16 donor funded projects.
∎ DAM Health & WASH Sector is going to recruit a competent and self-motivated individual for the position of Junior/Assistant Accounts & Admin Officer for Road Safety Projects. It`s a Dhaka based position which will act as the key person of finance operations.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Train the data collectors;
∎ Assist Project Incharge to recruit the local field staff;
∎ Assist Project Incharge to develop the intervention delivery mechanism;
∎ Supervise the data collection team;
∎ Monitor the delivery of the intervention among the selected participants;
∎ Oversee and monitor field activities; identify areas of improvement and provide; necessary assistance as and when required;
∎ Visit the households of study participants if required;
∎ Quarterly reporting the progress of the intervention;
∎ Perform overall Project Administration/Project management activities including proper monitoring of implementation plan, Review consumption of resources and utilization of man power;
∎ Collect anthropometric and biometric data;
∎ Write initial report, based on one's own analysis, experience and understanding of the work;
∎ Prepare final report for submission to supervisor after discussing with all team members;
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ 2 years, candidate having experience collecting anthropetric and biometric data will get preference.
