Educational Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overseeing the daily attendance, workflow, schedules, and assignments of security and shuttle staff;
∎ Conducting regular 'Fall In' and training security staff on workplace searches, drug and alcohol procedures, and related safety and security topics;
∎ Providing specialised security for and monitors access to limited and restricted access areas;
∎ Conducting regular walk-throughs and security inspections for assigned facilities and security staff;.
∎ Taking adequate precautionary measures to ensure safety & security of the University;
∎ Providing individual instructions for each post, use of security equipment, dress standard, etc.;
∎ Monitoring CCTV camera system;
∎ Completing incident reports and required documentation for all security incidents and updating accordingly;
∎ Monitoring building security and safety by performing tasks such as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliances to ensure that hazards are not created;
∎ Maintaining security controls for issued University keys; safeguards and controls University equipment.
∎ Updating and maintaining relevant man, material & vehicles security registers and checklist properly;
∎ Being aware of the Fire and Emergency procedures, and departmental responsibility in an emergency;
∎ Keeping record and updating of vehicle Tax Token, Fitness, Route permit and performing transport-related other activities with BRTA like registration and checking of Drivers' Licences;
∎ Identifying problems/defects of any vehicle of the company and ensuring quality repair and maintenance work of all vehicles through workshops;
∎ Preparing comparative statement of offers for vehicle major repairing and submit proposal for management decision;
∎ Supervising and checking logbooks, fuel consumption, cleanliness, and routine maintenance of all the vehicles;
∎ Communicating with relevant Govt./Private offices;
∎ Ensuring operations adhere to policies and regulations & standard work environment;
∎ Managing all types of departmental schedules and deadlines;
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ At least 5 (five) years of work experience in a similar position in any large organisation.
∎ Freshers are not encouraged to apply.
∎ Skills required: Security Management, Transport Maintenance, Transport Management.
∎ Retired Warrant Officer from any defence force in Bangladesh will be preferred.
∎ Must be residing in Chattogram.
