Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Supervise and manage the nursing staff, including scheduling, assignments, and performance evaluations.
∎ Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff to ensure high standards of patient care.
∎ Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional development.
∎ Oversee the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. Ensure that all patients receive appropriate, timely, and effective nursing care.
∎ Monitor patient outcomes and implement strategies to improve care quality and safety.
∎ Staff Development & Training: Identify training needs and organize in-service education and training programs for nursing staff.
∎ Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulations, including those related to infection control and patient safety. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to best practices in EHC.
∎ Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure continuous improvement in patient care and safety standards.
∎ Coordination & Communication: Collaborate with physicians, healthcare providers, and other hospital departments to coordinate patient care and resource allocation. Act as a liaison between nursing staff and hospital administration to address issues, concerns, and improvements.
∎ Ensure clear and effective communication with patients, families, and staff regarding care plans and expectations.
∎ Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including documentation of care plans and nursing interventions.
