International Student Consultant

Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated, confident, and career-focused International Student Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding students throughout the overseas education process and helping them make informed decisions about their academic and career goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Counsel students regarding study opportunities in countries such as Malaysia, Italy, New Zealand and other international destinations.

• Understand students’ academic backgrounds, career goals, and financial considerations to recommend suitable study options.

• Provide accurate information about universities, courses, admission requirements, tuition fees, scholarships, and intakes.

• Assist students with the complete application process, from university selection to submission.

• Follow up with prospective students and maintain regular communication throughout the admission journey.

• Coordinate with universities, institutions, and internal teams when required.

• Maintain proper records of student enquiries, applications, and follow-ups.

• Stay updated on university admission policies, visa requirements, scholarships, and changes in international education.

• Achieve individual and team admission/enrolment targets.

• Build strong relationships with students and provide professional customer service throughout the process.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in any relevant discipline.

• Previous experience in student counselling, international education, admissions, or consultancy will be an advantage.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to communicate confidently with students and parents.

• Strong convincing, negotiation, and follow-up skills.

• Target-orientated, proactive, and able to work effectively in a team.

• Good knowledge of international study destinations and university admission processes is preferred.
