∎ We are looking for an experienced Technical Manager for a woven Jacket garments factory with very strong knowledge and experience. Suitable candidates must be well aware of Woven Garments Sample development, those who have experience in Outerwear (Jacket) will get preference candidates should have experience handling H&M, Aldi, Next, Southpole etc.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee the entire sample development process, from concept to completion.
∎ To Check the Sketch sample & Make the Sample as per the Buyer's Requirement. Ability to check all details according to Artwork & Buyer’s standards.
∎ Ensure the correct M-list and patterns are used. Prepare design sample, size set, fit sample, red seal & gold seal/tag samples upon receipt from the buyer.
∎ Measuring technical risk assessments and taking proactive actions.
∎ To check fitting on approved dummies and /or live models with Buyer standard body measurements before sending to BO.
∎ Strong Knowledge of pattern grading, CAD marker, fabric construction, fabric quality, tests, seam strength & shrinkage performance etc.
∎ Support to achieve optimum efficiency of CAD section.
∎ Proper Filling of sample reports and sending them with correct images.
∎ Make sure to follow the pattern for detailed measurements (pockets, dart placement & measurements).
∎ Communicating with the Buying office for missing or unclear points on every sample stage.
∎ To ensure all samples are made with the same machinery as in production.
∎ Must have the Knowledge of children's safety regulations and ensure to apply when necessary.
∎ Developing and maintaining sample timelines, ensuring on-time delivery.
∎ To Check the counter by comparing with the Approved color/size etc.
