Education:

Responsibilities & Context:

Quality Feeds Limited is looking for an experienced and proactive Sr. Officer / Executive – Credit Control to manage and monitor market credit, agent/dealer outstanding balances, and credit exposure. The selected candidate will be responsible for regularly visiting agents and market points, monitoring credit limits, following up on outstanding payments, identifying credit risks and ensuring compliance with the company's credit policies.

The position requires a candidate who is comfortable with frequent market visits, field-level communication, negotiation and credit recovery activities.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control credit sales and outstanding balances of agents, dealers, and customers.

  • Regularly visit agents, dealers, distributors, and market points to monitor credit exposure and payment status.

  • Review customer/agent credit limits and recommend appropriate limits based on payment history and business performance.

  • Ensure that credit is extended within approved limits and company policies.

  • Monitor overdue accounts and take necessary follow-up actions for timely collection.

  • Maintain regular communication with agents and customers regarding outstanding payments.

  • Conduct field-level verification of customers, agents, business activities, and credit-related information.

  • Identify high-risk customers and potential credit default or collection risks and report them to management.

  • Investigate reasons for overdue payments and develop appropriate recovery strategies.

  • Coordinate with Sales, Finance, Accounts, Distribution and other relevant departments regarding credit-related matters.

  • Verify credit-related documents, agreements, security documents and other supporting records.

  • Maintain updated records of customer credit limits, outstanding amounts, collection status, and recovery actions.

  • Take necessary action against customers/agents who repeatedly violate approved credit terms.

  • Maintain proper documentation of field visits, collection efforts, commitments, disputes and recovery status.

  • Provide market feedback and credit-related information to management based on field observations.

  • Assist management in taking appropriate action against problematic or high-risk accounts.

  • Perform any other credit control or collection-related duties assigned by management.

Legal & Compliance Responsibilities

  • Basic knowledge of commercial law, contract law, recovery procedures and relevant business/legal documentation will be an advantage.

  • Review credit agreements and related documents from a practical credit-control perspective.

  • Coordinate with the concerned authority regarding legal action against serious or long-overdue accounts when required.

  • Maintain proper documentation and evidence related to credit disputes and recovery cases.

  • Ensure credit control activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
