Education:

• Master’s degree in business administration (MBA) or Commerce (M. Com) from a recognized university.

• Age At most 30 years
• Only Male

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in import documentation, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.

• Review and verify import PI or INDENT for accuracy and completeness, including all import shipping documents.

• Ensure all documentation complies with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and company procedures.

• Classify imported goods according to harmonized system (HS) codes.

• Communicate effectively with local suppliers’ agents, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal departments to facilitate the smooth clearance of shipments.

• Maintain accurate electronic and paper filing systems for import documentation.

• Research and stay updated on changes to import regulations and procedures.

• Identify and resolve any discrepancies in documentation to avoid delays or penalties.

• Assist with audits and inspections related to import activities.

• Remain flexible and responsive to the company’s evolving needs.

• Strong understanding of foreign trade regulations, central bank regulations, customs procedures for pharmaceutical imports in Bangladesh, and import and customs act and relevant regulations.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of working with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system used in the company.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bangla.
