Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Implement and monitor quality control procedures specific to mobile assembly operations.
∎ Ensure adherence to industry standards, including ISO certifications.
∎ Conduct internal audits, identify non-conformities, and facilitate corrective actions.
∎ Train staff on quality standards and best practices to enhance product quality.
∎ Develop and enforce occupational health and safety policies in line with local regulations.
∎ Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards & Hidden danger in the assembly process.
∎ Investigate incidents and near-misses, prepare reports, and recommend preventive measures.
∎ Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety protocols.
∎ Organize regular safety drills and training sessions for employees.
∎ Monitor compliance with environmental regulations and implement sustainability initiatives.
∎ Oversee waste management, pollution control, and recycling programs.
∎ Ensure safe handling and disposal of hazardous materials used in production.
∎ Develop and implement comprehensive fire safety policies and emergency response plans.
∎ Conduct fire risk assessments and ensure the availability and functionality of fire prevention systems.
∎ Inspect and maintain fire safety equipment, including extinguishers, alarms, and sprinkler systems.
∎ Lead fire drills and emergency evacuation exercises.
∎ Educate employees on fire prevention measures and proper use of firefighting equipment.
∎ Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, training sessions, incidents, and corrective actions.
∎ Submit monthly EHS reports on EHS information management system time to time.
∎ Prepare and submit reports on QHSE performance to Admin- Asst. Manager and Plant Manager.
∎ Ensure all necessary permits, licenses, and certifications related to QHSE are up-to-date.
∎ The QHSE Officer is responsible for implementing and overseeing Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures within TECNO, ITEL & INFINIX Mobile’s plant. This role ensures compliance with local and international regulations, promotes a culture of continuous improvement, and manages fire safety protocols to safeguard personnel and property. The major Key Responsibilities:
