1. Purpose Of The Position
Lead sports content strategy across Online to drive audience share, premium ad revenue, and market dominance in Bangladesh’s competitive sports media landscape.
2. Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities
Architect and execute a unified sports editorial strategy for Our online and digital platforms.
Drive breaking news coverage with speed, accuracy, and analytical depth for local and global sports.
Lead, mentor, and hold accountable a team of reporters and subeditors.
Forge exclusive content partnerships with Bangladesh cricket, football, and other federations.
Optimize story allocation to maximize viewer retention and print circulation lift.
Oversee budget management for sports acquisition, travel, and production resources.
Ensure full compliance with online policies and defamation laws in Bangladesh.
Deliver high-stakes live tournament coverage (BPL, ICC events, SAFF) with zero critical errors.
Monetize sports IP through sponsored segments, branded content, and special supplements.
Conduct daily post-mortem sessions to improve speed-to-air and editorial quality.
Champion data-driven storytelling using audience analytics and engagement metrics.
