∎ Have a minimum practical work experience of 2 years as an Interpreter
∎ Have ability to demonstrate good interpretation skills, and provide high quality, clear and faithful interpretation during Interview and meetings using standard and accurate language.
∎ Provide consecutive interpretation, when required, during audiences, discussions, etc.
∎ Check appropriate sources of reference.
∎ Keep abreast of developments in both the source and target languages.
∎ Having an excellent command of the source and target languages, a third language will be an added advantage.
∎ Have the ability to work under pressure and in a multicultural environment.
∎ Be a team player with a high sense of discipline and professionalism.
∎ Translate documents as and when required.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Provide high-quality Somali translation services for interviews, reports, communications, knowledge products, and other materials as required by the organization.
∎ Revise deliverables based on feedback provided by IOM to ensure quality and consistency.
∎ The translation assignment is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at 2:00 PM (Dhaka Time).
