Responsibilities & Job Context

• Ensure excellent service standards, maintain quality, respond efficiently to patient needs and develop patient satisfaction of administration and profession.
• Provide professional nursing care to patients/clients within an assigned unit/ward.
• Develop, implementation, evaluation the nursing regimen for assigned patients/clients.
• Record as well as maintaining of nursing care plans & progress notes on patients/clients to make sure continuity of care.
• Participate with other health team members to plan a comprehensive patient care program.
• Identifying patient care requirements by establishing personal relation with potential and actual patients and other persons in a position to understand care requirements.
• Establishing a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families.
• Maintaining safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; calling for assistance from health care support personnel.
• Documentation of patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
• Adhering with the protocols, norms, rules and regulations in order to maintain complete medical records.
• Keeping an eye on each and every aspect of patient care that includes physical activity plus proper diet.
• Ensuring operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
• Maintaining nursing supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies; using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• Do any other duties of similar nature which is not covered by the above item & that may be assigned to you by the Hospital Management in the interest of the patients as well as of public service during emergency.
