Educational Requirements:
∎ A relevant post-graduate degree; social sciences, geography, disaster risk management, development studies, engineering, hydrology, meteorology;

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum of five years' experience in relevant field; out of which three years in mid-level managerial position preferred with thematic focus on Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) or climate change adaptation;
∎ A good understanding of Disaster Risk Management landscape of Bangladesh, Strong project management and proven coordination skills;
∎ Organizational skills, problem solving mind, analytical, flexible, rigorous, with common sense and autonomous
∎ Mobility and flexibility, willing to work in the multi-cultural team
∎ Negotiation and diplomatic qualities
∎ Oral and written fluency in English and Bangla;
∎ Good interpersonal and intercultural skills, the ability to communicate clearly and effectively and build relationships at all levels;
∎ High level of attention to details in all aspects of work responsibilities;
∎ Training and presentation skill;
∎ Report writing skill;
∎ Ability to priority multiple task and meet deadlines;
∎ Good knowledge of the RC/RC principles, Code of Conduct, Humanitarian standards;
∎ Able to travel always and within short notice, work outside normal working hours as the situation requires and under stressful working condition
∎ Ability to work independently on own initiative and also to contribute as part of a team;
∎ Ability to understand and work with Government Law/Ministries
∎ Willingness and ability to learn, flexibility and adaptability;
∎ Ability to get on well with a wide variety of people;
∎ Excellent team player and gender sensitive;
∎ Integrity and high standards of personal conduct;
