• Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting
• Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance

• Preferred Professional Certification: CA or ICMA will add advantages.

• Age At least 28 years
• Only Male

• Minimum 03 years practical experience in Corporate VAT & Tax Management.

• Should have calm & gentle.

• Remaining alert on up-to-date accounting/VAT/tax rules & practices.

• Should have the ability to accomplish the assigned work individually & timely.

We are seeking an Senior Officer VAT, Tax & Audit for Maya paper and board mills Limited, Rangpur location. In this role, you will actively lead on all Vat and tax related activities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory legislative requirements.

1. The candidate must be able to handle all VAT & Tax related works of the company independently in a timely manner.
2. Ensure proper compliance as per Bangladesh Income Tax Law and VAT Act.
3. Adapt to concerns relating to new Tax & VAT rules, SROs and amendments.
4. Ensure monthly/ half yearly/ yearly Tax & VAT returns.
5. Assist Tax & VAT related works with the factory & monitoring calculations.
6. Regularly reviewing the application of Tax and VAT in the company and its systems and making updates and improvements where necessary.
7. Identifying areas where the company and businesses can reduce tax, make claims, and increase profit.
8. Liaise with regulatory authorities as necessary.
9. Perform any other duties as assigned by the management.
