Job Context:
∎ Department: Counseling Unit

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinating and communicating with internal departments, students, faculty members, staff, and parents regarding various activities of the Counseling Unit
∎ Attending desk queries and the Helpline number and providing Mental Health First Aid in emergency situations
∎ Organizing programs offered by Counseling Unit
∎ Supporting in organizing regular activities, seminars, training and workshops by doing various tasks, i.e. emailing, printing, reporting, documenting, and other administrative duties
∎ Implementing survey to collect relevant data to enhance service quality
∎ Preparing budgets and bills for specific programs and coordinating financial transactions of the Counseling Unit
∎ Placing requisitions for procurement
∎ Producing monthly, semester wise reports after processing the data of the services provided by the members of the Counseling Unit

Additional Requirements:
∎ Having training on Mental Health First Aid, Communication Skills are preferred.
∎ At least 1 years of work experience in a similar role
∎ Excellent communication skills in English and Bengali, both oral and written
∎ Solid knowledge of office procedures, strong organizational skills with problem solving attitude. Methodical approach to work and high level of attention to detail
∎ Understanding of the importance of confidentiality
∎ Ability to work collaboratively across departments and service areas
∎ Flexible approach to work and positive response to changing requirements
