Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, Fashion Technology, Fashion Design, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline.
Professional qualifications or training in Apparel Merchandising will be considered an added advantage.

Skills Required:
Additional Requirements:
5–7 years of practical experience in merchandising within a denim factory or denim apparel manufacturing industry.Strong knowledge of denim product development, sampling, costing, order execution, and shipment procedures.Experience communicating and coordinating with international buyers, brands, and buying houses.
Responsibilities & Context:
Manage the complete merchandising process, from product development, sampling, and costing to bulk order execution and shipment.
Communicate and coordinate with international buyers, brands, and buying houses regarding product development, samples, approvals, and orders.
Develop and follow up on proto, fit, size sets, sales samples, and other buyer-required samples.
Prepare product costing, negotiate prices, and ensure commercially competitive and profitable orders.
Coordinate with Design, Pattern, Garment Technical, Sample Room, Production, Quality, Planning, and Sourcing teams to ensure timely execution.
Follow up on denim fabric, lace, elastic, trims, accessories, lab dips, and other development materials.
Prepare, update, and monitor the Time and Action (T&A) calendar to ensure timely sample submissions, approvals, and order execution.
Maintain accurate merchandising records, buyer comments, order status, and product development reports.
Identify development and order-related issues and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely solutions.
Ensure adherence to buyer requirements, product specifications, quality standards, and shipment deadlines.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
Good understanding of denim garments, washes, finishes, and product development processes.
Ability to manage multiple orders and meet tight deadlines.
Strong problem-solving, follow-up, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in ERP, MS Office, merchandising documentation, costing, and T&A management.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
