Job Responsibilities:
∎ The incumbent will be responsible for developing and maintaining the financial policy.
∎ Prepare SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) for smooth departmental and cross departmental operations.
∎ Ensure that organization’s financial records and recordkeeping methods are in compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
∎ Direct and coordinate an organization's financial and budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, and increase efficiency.
∎ Assist top management in making capital structure decisions and implementing them effectively.
∎ Providing sound financial assistance and information to management in order for it to make important business decisions.
∎ To oversee the operation of various sections of the financial department such as accounts, budget preparation, cash flow management, and commercial management.
∎ Direct, plan, or implement policies, objectives, and activities of organizations or businesses to ensure continuing operations, maximize returns on investments and increase productivity.
∎ To oversee and deal with banks and financial institutions, internal and external auditors for auditing, and all direct and indirect taxes.
∎ Ensure maximum compliance of tax laws, especially withholding taxes in all purchases and sales. And also ensure other compliance such as VAT, RJSC, BIDA, Labor Authority, Bangladesh Bank etc. in organization.
∎ Periodically review the organization’s financial reports and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
∎ Prepare budgets for approval, including those for funding and implementation of programs.
∎ Receive financial statements quarterly for all organization’s accounts from the bank(s) and reconcile all deposits and withdrawals.
∎ Consult board members regarding funding strategy.
∎ Generate cost and profit analysis.
∎ Create secure processes to ensure data is confidential.
∎ Effectively manage A& F team to achieve maximum utilization.
∎ Evaluate inter department employee’s performance on regular basis and report on KPIs.
∎ Any other relevant duties assigned by top management.
