Responsibilities & Context:
Responsibilities & Context
We are seeking a Senior manager/Head of Department - Maintenance who is responsible for developing maintenance strategies, managing maintenance teams, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure smooth operation, preventive and corrective maintenance of all factory machinery & utilities.
- Diagnose technical problems quickly, develop and implement effective maintenance schedules.
- Lead and supervise the maintenance team to ensure zero breakdown and maximum efficiency and safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety rules, regulations, and organizational standards during all maintenance activities.
- Maintain detailed records of machine service, repair history, and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Maintain liaison with production, quality, and other departments to understand operational challenges and provide timely support.
- Monitor spare parts inventory and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
- Stay updated on the latest sewing machine technologies and recommend upgrades or improvements when necessary.
- Communicate clearly with colleagues, supervisors, and production staff to maintain a collaborative work environment.
- Provide technical solutions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Any others task assigned by Management.
