Experience:

• At least 2 years

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biomedical Engineering

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical & Electronic Engineering / Biomedical Engineering from Government affiliated Universities with minimum 2 years of professional experience

• At least 2 years

• Knowledge and Experiences of Planning, Installation, Commissioning, Calibration, Quality Control, Service and Maintenance, Operation of Biomedical equipments in a Hospital or in Vendor of different types Healthcare products

• Knowledge and Experiences in MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint), AutoCAD

• Knowledge and experience on fire safety in relation to compressed gas cylinders and/or gas networks.

• Maintenance and servicing of Critical care equipment, OT equipment, Central Oxygen Generator, Central Suction Unit, Oxygen Concentrator, Medical Gas Manifold & pipelines, CSSD Equipment, Endoscopy, Laparoscopy, RO Plant, DIDM Plant, Dialysis machine, Imaging equipment, Laboratory equipment

• Manage & Maintain Asset Inventory, Safety Inventory & Record proper documentation for all Biomedical Equipment.

• Ensure effective Material Requirement Planning (MRP), Just in Time (JIT), Kanban, Lean

• Perform day-to-day activities related to Biomedical equipment service support requested from different specialties within the hospital.

• Preparing & Evaluating Technical specifications on Biomedical equipment of different modalities.

• Ensure appropriate planning, design, Installation, Commissioning, Calibration, Quality Control, Service Tools, Training on Biomedical equipment as per manufacturer protocol.

• Ensure & monitor Routine Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance (PM) & Corrective Maintenance (CM) as per manufacturer protocol

• Ensure & monitor the warranty supports, contractual supports for Biomedical equipment

• Reporting the authority on demand for the acknowledgment, awareness to have strategic planning & process engineering.

• Provide hands-on Training (system Core Training, Operational Training & Application Training) on Biomedical equipment for Biomedical Engineers, Biomedical Technicians, Medical Technologists, Nurses and Doctors for the effective & efficient use of biomedical equipment.

• Ensure the safety protocols for Biomedical, Electrical & Mechanical hazardous issues as per national & international healthcare safety standards with the highest priority for the Patients, Medical professionals & professionals from other ancillary support services.

• Preparing & presenting System Activity sheet, Note-sheet, Approval sheet to the top management on demand for the acknowledgment & awareness to have the strategic planning & accomplishment Biomedical service-related works.

• Receiving supplies from vendors ensuring quality check and pre-service & post-service for the Biomedical equipment.

• Ensure & monitor the warranty supports, contractual supports e.g. Comprehensive Maintenance Contract (CMC), Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) & on-call support specified & agreed by both the manufacturer and Customer.

• Ensure that fire control measures are in place on all sites and are being followed by healthcare centre staff. Ensure that guidance is in place for responding to fires at each site.

• Provide training to Oxygen O&M Technicians and to healthcare centre staff on fire safety and response.

• Receives requests for repairs and generates work orders specifying the appropriate technical data.

• At the request of the Line Manager, participate in staff development and training processes

• Ensure that an inventory of tools and supplies is maintained at the facility, stored in an organized manner.

• Perform such other related duties as may be assigned.

Monthly gross salary for this position is BDT 77,350.17
