• Responsibilities & Context:

  • Collaborate with the design team to create best-selling styles for seasonal collections.

  • Design Blazers, Gowns, and Wedding wear.

  • Research market trends to understand new fabrics, colors, silhouettes, fits, and washes.

  • Create hand-drawn sketches, designs, flat patterns, technical drawings, and other required art/illustrations.

  • Develop design and concept boards to communicate seasonal direction.

  • Select textiles, colors, graphics/prints, materials, fit, and trims to create popular and best-selling styles.

  • Apply garment pattern-making and garment-fitting techniques to ensure proper construction.

  • Design dresses and other children`s clothing items- Work independently on design projects.

  • Utilize knowledge of fabric types and sources in the design process.Incorporate design motifs, graphics, embroidery stitch details, and print variations into clothing designs.
