Educational Requirements:
∎ Master’s or advanced degree in International Development/Education or related subject area. Essential

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Take lead in implementation of ECD, LCFA and prevocational skills training education interventions.
∎ Manage and support the Education Program Implementation Team including Coaching with clear standards of accountability
∎ Create and implement professional Development Plan for all direct reports
∎ Ensure cross departmental coordination is taking place between Education team, Child protection, GBV and the respective World Vision Support Departments.
∎ Ensure all education projects meet grant requirements including time frame, resource allocation, scope and risk management.
∎ Work with the Human Resources team on recruitment and orientation for new program team staff.
∎ Provide opportunities for capacity building to all education staff in consultation with the Advisor and Human Resources Department to ensure proper technical, managerial and personal development.
∎ Know grant/donors regulations, compliance issues and build the capacity of his/her team in this respect.
∎ Ensure staff and education program compliance with the child safeguarding policy (this include visitors and media protocols, partnering with communities and other agencies or CBOs and children participation)
∎ Collaborate with Finance to review financial reports and maintain accurate spending reports and up-to-date budgets.
∎ Lead and evaluate education projects’ budgets, projects’ funding, expenditures and accomplishments of ministry objectives.
∎ Develop, Monitor and submit projects budgets, financial reports, cash flows, carry forwards, etc.
∎ Update and maintain the Education implementation plan while collaborating with Programme Department to make sure programme designs are based on needs assessment findings (primary & secondary data) and analysis
∎ Ensure all programmes refer to technical standards, consider the education working group and government standards and are aligned with internal and external Strategic Objectives
∎ Ensure education plans are developed and implemented with community engagement, taking into account local needs
∎ Follow up with Accountability to respond to feedback from areas of implementation to strengthen Education sector approach
∎ Coordinate and support establishment of education data base to inform the education sector and donor reporting
∎ Develop strategic activities to mainstreaming child safeguarding including PSEA, disaster risk reduction and social cohesion
∎ Supervise and control all projects’ activities as set out in the Action Plan.
∎ Prepare and conduct donor’s field visit to ensure proper communication and relationships.
∎ Participate and review projects evaluations in close coordination with the internal and/or external evaluator.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Clear Understanding on the issues project has to work on.
∎ Knowledge on the rohingya refugee crisis and Response
∎ Good conceptual and practical skill to design proposals and concept notes
∎ Good knowledge and skills in budget forecasting and tracking
∎ Good training or facilitation skills
∎ Community engagement and participation
∎ Good communication and networking skills
∎ Ability to speak Chittagong/Rohingya Bengali, English both written and verbal is an added advantage.
∎ Competent in using MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint presentation
∎ Ability to work under stressful condition and adaptive to local culture and situation
∎ Minimum of 3 years working experiences in the relevant field with Significant experience in the development and/or implementation of Education in Emergencies and DRR programming.
∎ Knowledge of INEE standards and DRR strategies in the humanitarian sector
∎ Must be willing and able to travel in camp locations in Ukhia
∎ Project locations are in remote areas in refugee camp. Staff is expected to live in his/her based location.
