Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor/Master's degree (in Accounting/ Finance) from reputed university.
∎ Relevant certification i.e., CACC/ partly qualified ACCA with CA firm experience will be preferred

Experience Requirements:
∎ 4 to 5 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ Reports indirectly to Head of Finance in Dubai - Head office
∎ Reports indirectly to Finance Manager in Hong Kong
∎ Report directly to Assistant Finance Manager in Bangladesh
∎ Job Location: Sector 6, Uttara, Dhaka

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Upload invoices information from FIS to SAP for online approval
∎ Posting all daily transactions into SAP and ensure the transactions are error free, and the accounts are up to date
∎ Arrange bank payment in compliance with TAX requirement (VAT/WHT)
∎ Updating General Ledgers and calculation of monthly Bank Reconciliation.
∎ Ensuring all the transactions are posted in compliance with IFRS, GAAP and TAX compliance
∎ Prepare cash and bank book
∎ Maintain petty cash book (No cash disbursement but control of spending and recording transactions)
∎ Month end, and year end closing activities (Recording entries and updating schedules)
∎ Assist Finance manager with external audit process and provide all necessary worksheets.
∎ Updating all records and any other functions related to asset management.
∎ Maintain all the supporting documents related to daily both cash and bank transactions
∎ Communicate with vendors regarding payment information
∎ Share Tax as well as VAT challans and Msuhak-6.6
∎ Other Ad-hoc management requests.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 4-5 years proven experience as financial accountant or similar role.
∎ Excellent knowledge of finance & accounting and reporting.
∎ Experience in multinational corporations is a plus
∎ Knowledge in Bangladesh Tax/ VAT laws and Banking policies
∎ Speaks fluently in English
