∎ Proficiently use Microsoft office application, excel and power point.
∎ Search and download e-books from internet.
∎ Type or key accurately at a basic speed of 45 wpm
∎ May assist in a variety of office activities that require & use of a computer and data entry.
∎ One year of working experience in electronic data processing operation or completion of vocational training in computer operations and some knowledge of standard Library procedures and practices.

∎ Job Responsibilities
∎ To operate a Library computer console and related peripheral equipment; to maintain programs and files, run reports, and assist in implementing Library system changes; to process data processing jobs in a timely manner. Employees in this classification receive general supervision within a framework of standard policies and procedures. This job class functions at the journey level of classification.
∎ Maintains Library log book.
∎ Searches and lists new editions of books.
∎ Assists other office activities.
∎ Maintains the computer laboratory and assists students and teachers during laboratory use.
∎ Schedules the processing of computer jobs to meet Library operational needs and priorities.
∎ Sets up computer equipment, executes run instructions, prints daily Library reports and distributes printouts.
∎ Performs regular maintenance and cleaning of Library equipment. Operates data entry devices, keying from a wide variety of source documents.
∎ Communicates with Library system users regarding general system events, announcements and procedure updates.
∎ Assists in maintaining computer facility supplies, such as paper, input and output media, Library special forms, etc.
