Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Leadership role responsible for safeguarding organizational assets, personnel, and premises.
∎ Leads a team of Security Supervisors across three shifts, ensuring 24/7 coverage.
∎ Focus on proactive risk mitigation and effective security protocol implementation.
∎ Directly supervise three Shift Supervisors.
∎ Foster a high-performing team through coaching, mentoring, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
∎ Develop and maintain efficient shift schedules.
∎ Conduct regular training programs for all security personnel (security procedures, emergency response, equipment use, conflict resolution).
∎ Develop, implement, and regularly review comprehensive security policies and procedures.
∎ Oversee security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms).
∎ Conduct regular security assessments and risk analyses.
∎ Manage access control for employees, visitors, and contractors.
∎ Establish and maintain emergency response plans (fire, medical emergencies, security breaches, natural disasters).
∎ Collaborate with local emergency services.
∎ Conduct regular drills and exercises.
∎ Ensure accurate and timely incident reporting (security incidents, accidents, policy violations).
∎ Lead thorough incident investigations.
∎ Recommend and implement corrective actions.
∎ Build strong interdepartmental relationships.
∎ Communicate regularly with management and staff regarding security.
∎ Maintain liaison with local law enforcement and security providers.
∎ Contribute to security budget development and management.
