• Candidates with practical experience in digital weighing scale operation and scale software will be preferred.

• Experience in a Steel Industry / Steel Factory, particularly involving Rod, Metal and Sectional Items, is mandatory.

• Direct experience in operating digital weighing scales and scale software.

• Ability to accurately measure weight and perform real-time data entry into computer/software.

• Good knowledge of weighing procedures for Rod, Metal and other steel products.

• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.

• Good computer literacy and data-entry skills.

• Ability to maintain accurate records and handle operational responsibilities carefully.

• Ability to work under pressure and maintain accuracy during busy operational periods.

• Strong sense of responsibility, discipline and operational efficiency.

Job Context

Salam Steel Concast Re-Rolling Mills Madanpur Unit Ltd. is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Scale Operator / Scaleman to operate digital weighing scales and related scale software at the godown. The selected candidate will be responsible for accurate weighing of Rod, Metal and other steel products, along with timely and accurate data entry.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate the digital weighing scale and related scale software efficiently.

• Perform accurate weighing of Rod, Metal and other steel products.

• Ensure accurate measurement and recording of product weight.

• Enter weighing data into the computer/software accurately and in real time.

• Maintain accuracy in weight-related records and data.

• Ensure proper handling and weighing of materials according to operational requirements.

• Coordinate with relevant personnel to ensure smooth weighing and dispatch-related activities.

• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all weighing and data-entry activities.
