Khokon Memorial Hospital, an expansion of M&J Group, is currently seeking applications from qualified and motivated individuals for the position of Physiotherapist. The selected candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning and implementing rehabilitation programs to improve patient mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit physical disabilities.
Job Context: The Residential Medical Officer (RMO) will ensure continuous medical care to the patients in collaboration with consultants and nursing staff. The RMO is responsible for managing patients admitted to the hospital, monitoring their progress, handling emergencies, and ensuring adherence to treatment protocols.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide 24/7 on-site medical coverage for admitted patients.
Monitor and record patients' conditions, progress, and response to treatment.
Perform clinical examinations, take patient histories, and assist in diagnosis and treatment plans.
Initiate emergency management procedures when necessary.
Communicate with consultants and specialists regarding critical or deteriorating patients.
Supervise and guide nursing staff on medical care as needed.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., blood tests, X-rays).
Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed.
Support in pre-operative and post-operative care.
Assist in minor procedures and provide first aid when needed.
Ensure patient safety and infection control protocols are strictly followed.
Participate in medical audits, reviews, and internal training programs.
