MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Registry & Academic Administration
· Manage and maintain accurate student records in line with institutional policies and data protection requirements.
· Support student enrolment, re-enrolment, progression, and academic documentation processes.
· Ensure the timely and accurate processing of registry-related requests and updates.
Student Support & Communication
· Act as a first point of contact for student and staff queries relating to registry and academic administration.
· Communicate clearly, professionally, and sensitively with students from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
· Provide accurate information on academic processes, timelines, and requirements, escalating complex issues when required.
Attendance, Data & Reporting
· Oversee attendance tracking systems, identify discrepancies, and take appropriate corrective action.
· Analyse student data and produce reports on attendance, engagement, and academic performance trends.
· Support academic teams with reliable data for monitoring, intervention, and decision-making purposes.
Compliance, Confidentiality & Quality
· Ensure compliance with academic regulations, GDPR, and internal policies at all times.
· Handle confidential and sensitive student information with discretion and professionalism.
· Maintain records to support audits, reviews, and quality assurance activities.
Operational Support & Teamworking
· Manage multiple tasks and conflicting deadlines in a calm, organised, and methodical manner.
· Take accurate minutes for key academic and operational meetings and circulate actions promptly.
· Work independently and collaboratively as part of the Registry and wider Academic Services team.
· Contribute to continuous improvement of registry and student support processes.
General Responsibilities
· Demonstrate flexibility and a cooperative approach to work in response to changing operational needs.
· Undertake other duties of a similar nature appropriate to the level of the role, as required by the line manager.
