Experience:
Master's/PhD degree from a recognized university at home or abroad.
Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible experience in university administration;
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Registrar or 5 years of experience as a Deputy Registrar in a recognized public or private university.
Skills & Expertise
Sound knowledge of the operational, academic, and administrative activities of private universities.
Excellent drafting, communication, and correspondence skills in English.
Strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Act as the chief administrative officer of the University and oversee day-to-day administrative operations.
Maintain and supervise all academic, administrative, and student records of the University.
Coordinate the activities of faculties, departments, institutes, and administrative offices.
Ensure implementation of university policies, statutes, ordinances, rules, and regulations.
Provide secretarial and administrative support to statutory bodies, including the Board of Trustees, Syndicate, Academic Council, and other committees.
Liaise with the University Grants Commission (UGC), government agencies, accreditation bodies, and other stakeholders as required.
Supervise administrative personnel and ensure efficient office management.
Oversee matters related to admissions, examinations, registration, convocation, and other academic affairs.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and institutional policies.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Vice-Chancellor and the University Authority from time to time.
