• MBBS, degree from a recognized medical college with valid registration and MPH.

Experience:

• At least 10 years’ experience in project management in health programs particularly in MNCH in donor funded projects.

• Prior administrative or supervisory experience in MNCH project preferred.

Shimantik is a national non-government organization working in Bangladesh. Shimantik awarded a project named “MOMENTUM Integrated Health Resilience (MIHR) Bangladesh Activity” funded by United State Department/JSI Research & Training Institute, Inc. to implement it in the tea gardens of Moulvibazar, Hobiganj and Sylhet districts. Shimantik invites applications from dynamic and qualified professionals for the position of Project Manager for MIHR project whose project office will be located at Sreemongal, Moulvibazar.

Core Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day management; coordination with MIHR and GoB; in designing, planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating the project activities and also, in developing future strategies by making recommendations.

• Supervision of field teams; workplan implementation, monitor project activities and supervise the work of supervisee staff directly through regular field visits and providing on-site technical assistance (hand-on training)

• Organize and facilitate monthly staff meetings to review progress and develop actions for further improvements and reach the contract conditions.

• Preparation of the annual work plan with target (quality, coverage and goals), budget and project implementation report etc.

• Salary and Benefits: Monthly pay Tk.120,000.00 (Taka One Lakh Twenty Thousand) with other benefits as per project budget and organizational (Shimantik) policy
