MH Group is a well-reputed and rapidly growing business conglomerate in Bangladesh, engaged in consumer goods manufacturing and import-based operations. As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking a results-oriented and experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee the end-to-end execution of new and existing food manufacturing projects. This role will be responsible for managing machinery installation, commissioning, production line setup, and ensuring a seamless transition into full-scale production. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in handling large-scale industrial projects within the food manufacturing sector and the ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning & Execution
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress, manage risks, and implement corrective actions as required.
2. Machinery Installation & Commissioning
- Oversee installation and commissioning of food processing and packaging machinery.
- Liaise with equipment vendors, utility providers, and service contractors.
- Ensure machine trial runs, performance tests, and validation are properly documented and approved.
3. Plant Layout & Infrastructure
- Review and approve factory layout, utilities setup (electrical, water, compressed air, HVAC, etc.).
- Ensure adherence to GMP, food safety, and factory hygiene standards during setup.
4. Production Process Setup
- Define and implement manufacturing processes, SOPs, and quality control checkpoints.
- Collaborate with R&D and QA teams for recipe trials, product consistency, and shelf-life testing.
- Ensure raw material handling, storage, and workflow efficiency in the production area.
5. Team Coordination & Training
- Lead cross-functional teams including production, maintenance, QA, and warehouse.
- Train production staff and operators on equipment handling, safety, and processes.
6. Regulatory & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations (BSTI, BFSA, etc.) and certifications (ISO, HACCP, etc.).
- Coordinate factory inspections, audits, and documentation.
7. Reporting & Communication
- Provide regular updates to top management on project milestones, bottlenecks, and financials.
- Maintain all project documentation, including CAPEX reports and commissioning records.
