Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters degree in any discipline
∎ Masters in any discipline from reputed university.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ S/he will work full time as Project Coordinator of Tobacco Control project.
∎ Responsible for developing, designing, planning, implementing the project activates and undertaking advocacy work, maintain close liaison with Govt., relevant stakeholders including CTFK Bangladesh Team on behalf of Dhaka Ahsania Mission.
∎ Responsible to coordinate the project staff towards achieving the project goal, objectives and planned target and as approved in the project documents
∎ Make presentation of Tobacco control activities in different seminar, workshops, and dissemination sessions etc.
∎ Develop action plans for proper implementation of the Project's activities and adhere them including regular field visit to assess project staff and related activities.
∎ Conduct Advocacy with policy makers and relevant Ministries as follows:
∎ Amendment of Tobacco Control Law including
∎ Increasing tobacco tax with a simple tax structure as agreed by CTFK and grantees
∎ Ban Designated Smoking Area
∎ Ban Tobacco Advertisement and Promotions including product display at Point of Sales (POS)
∎ Ban CSR of Tobacco Industries
∎ Banning emerging tobacco products
∎ Ban sale of single sticks and loses tobacco product including SLT
∎ Standardized Packaging of Tobacco Products (Bidi, Jarda and Gul)
∎ Counteringthe interference of TIs
∎ Conduct Advocacy with LGD for allocating budget for implementation of LG common guideline; and the Tobacco Control Law as a whole.
∎ Conduct mapping and update stakeholder's/policy makers list and sensitize about Law amendment, increase Tobacco Tax, for banning display of tobacco products at POS & banning E.cig;
∎ Develop Fact sheet / survey report (IEC/BCC) briefing materials for campaign programme.
∎ Updated the mobilized stakeholders about the progress of tobacco control by disseminating the media reports, documents, materials through email on a regular basis.
∎ Invite the stakeholders in the various DAM events / initiatives to ensure their engagement and solidarities.
∎ Attend the national and international level meetings and seminar and represent the organization's tobacco control experiences.
∎ Ensure timely development and submission of periodic reports. Work with project staff to make adjustments based on M&E findings to insure quality results of the project.
∎ Facilitate research initiative to create evidence for Tobacco Control Advocacy/ policy change
∎ Facilitate selection of Tobacco Control Policy Champions and their engagement in policy advocacy
∎ Facilitate OPED writing by the renowned personalities and policy advocate
∎ Engaged in Media advocacy both electronic, Print and social media
∎ Perform/ engaged further assignment not listed above but emerge and as assigned by the organization on tobacco control actions/issues

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 27 years
∎ Minimum 10 Years experience in Advocacy focused Project management/implementation, especially project in public health and Non Communicable diseases control.
∎ Have experience in research and policy advocacy at National level.
∎ Strong team players and meeting the time bound performance
∎ Excellent writing and fluency in written and spoken English and Bengali.
∎ Strong project management skills, fine attention to details, and ability to deliver project goals in a timely fashion.

Salary: Tk. 65000 (Monthly)
