Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters degree in any discipline
∎ Master's Degree in any discipline (Flexible for highly experienced candidates) with at least 10 years job experience in development field with 5 years in project management preferable in WASH Project.

Job Context:
∎ Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is a non-government development organization founded in 1958 by Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah, an eminent educationist, reformer and Sufi with the aim of social and spiritual development of entire human community. DAM has been contributing for the betterment of the disadvantaged population through operating 35 institutions and also 8 sectors of development. Health & WASH Sector is one of the core sectors of DAM which has also been operating 9 institutions and 15 donor funded projects.
∎ DAM Health & WASH Sector is going to recruit a competent and self-motivated individual for the position of Project Coordinator of Max Foundation Bangladesh supported Project titled "Building Water and Sanitation Entrepreneurship Program" covering Patuakhali region. It`s a Patuakhali based position which will act as the focal of field operation.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for planning, implementation and management of the project.
∎ Continuously monitor and supervise project activities, overseeing the technical design, execution and evaluation of progress through outputs and impacts using both quantitative and qualitative data.
∎ Ensure constant communication with project staff to identify potential problems, contract with LE association & to be lifted the outcomes from the assigned LE
∎ Consider of disaster resilient features, gender sensitivity, inclusive approach as a cross cutting issue during programme planning and implementation.
∎ Follow up exiting installed piped water schemes.
∎ Responsible for risk assessments, community situation analysis (CSA), survey and study in the project area.
∎ Provide detailed, accurate and timely reports as per requirements of donors on activities, challenges and areas in need of improvement.
∎ Participate in cluster meetings, operational working group meetings, and other coordination meetings at district level led by relevant agencies.
∎ Ensure robust and efficient coordination with other stakeholders in relation with project implementation.
∎ Maintain effective liaison with other actor's, donor and facilitate effective networking in project areas.
∎ Represent the project in various meeting/ workshop/ seminars at union and Upazila level as appropriate.
∎ Ensure team building, conflict resolution and problem solving in timely manner.
∎ Take necessary steps for capacity strengthening of project team and other stakeholders involved in the implementation to deliver project outputs effectively.
∎ Control and manage budget and ensure all expenses are according to budget and meet DAM and Max Foundation standards regarding financial management, including accountability and good governance.
∎ Manage the induction and periodic appraisal of all staff for whom s/he is the line manager.
∎ Asses and consult with DAM and Max Foundation management to ensure security situation of planned locations is calms; Ensure risk assessment and share security information.
∎ Responsible to put in place appropriate security and prevention measured during any distribution and implementation of project activities.
∎ Provide timely incident report to the management and donor as needed.
∎ To do any other task or assignment which will assigned by Higher management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Priority will be given to the candidates who have experience in sanitation marketing, local entrepreneurship development, entrepreneur association and payment by result (PbR) Project
∎ Experience with working in Microfinance institution & financial institution will be value added.
∎ Good Knowledge of Project Management, Implementation, Coordination, Networking
∎ Keep strong coordination with other implementing agencies, donors and local government authorities at field level
∎ Ability to establish collaborative relationship with staff, beneficiaries and other stakeholders
∎ Strong attitude to take initiative, work autonomously and achieve results effectively; Flexibility and stress-management
∎ Willingness to accept frequent field missions. Driving motorbike with valid driving licence.
∎ Ability to establish collaborative relationship with staff, beneficiaries and other stakeholders
∎ Candidates need to be highly motivated and committed to Dhaka Ahsania Mission's vision, mission and long-term development work to significantly improve the lives of the most vulnerable and marginalized candidates must be capable of displaying great learning ability, support and encourage knowledge sharing across project, for the ultimate benefit of all of DAM mission wide initiatives.
∎ Excellent computer skills.

Salary:
∎ Tk. 60000 (Monthly)
∎ Other admissible benefits will be provided as per organizational policy and project fund availability.
