Job Context:
∎ Community Development Centre (CODEC) is working in the coastal area of Bangladesh since 1985. Its core activities are the socio-economic development of coastal people which is operated through seven thematic areas as Agriculture, Fishery, Dairy and Horticulture; Education, Skills and Youth Development; Conflict Resolution; Climate Change and Disaster; Health and Nutrition; Social Entrepreneurship; Microfinance and Rohingya Education, Protection and Repatriation.
∎ Community Development Centre (CODEC) is going to implement upcoming Project.The overall objective of the project is to strengthen food security through urban agriculture and support economic empowerment focusing on demand created by the camp itself.
∎ The specific objectives:
∎ Improved food security of 9000 vulnerable HH participants though urban agriculture and aquaculture
∎ Enhance Skills 1000 adult youth producing handicrafts and itemized foods through center- based livelihood training

Job Responsibilities:
∎ PC will be responsible for overall coordination and liaison with GoB/Donor and CODEC Management for smooth project implementation.
∎ Timely donor demand meets especially monthly report, CBT report.
∎ Project Coordinator will play a lead role in developing Activity Plan and Detailed Implementation Plan in timely manner. Supervise the project implementation progress and budget tracking as per DIP
∎ Have experience on project implementation of Agriculture/ aquaculture/ Centre Based training with sound knowledge in Rohingya camp context.
∎ Provide technical guidance to the Technical Officer centre managers, Communality Mobilizer to address their challenges in implementing Agro-based training and centre based skills training.
∎ Ensure beneficiary level training and provide input support to the beneficiary in a timely manner.
∎ Need to work under pressure, shouldering the responsibility where needed, analyse the project outcome and make plan as per result.
∎ Coordinate with technical staff in rehabilitation and accessibility to ensure a comprehensive approach to support specific needs of community stakeholders and the field facilitators.
∎ Provide on-time feedback & support to the DIP based technical issues faced on the field.
∎ Ensuring the implementation on the field of tools and process in response to the COVID-19 situation.
∎ Ensure the gathering and consolidation the mapping of services
∎ Need to frequent field visit and report to CODEC Management about the needs, challenges with possible solution.
∎ Responsible to reconcile inter project fund management.
∎ Build and nurture effective teamwork in the Camps that is conducive to staff retention
∎ Responsible field-based volunteers' recruitment.
∎ Ensure all camp level staffs comprehends and effectively pursues the goal, objects and results of the program.
∎ Assist lo conduct and oversee annual staff performance appraisal for all field level project staff.
∎ Assess needs and provide staff with skill development opportunities for ensuring maximums contribution toward achieving program goal and objectives.
∎ Initiate appropriate disciplinary measures to the concerned staff as and when required in consultation with CODEC Management.
∎ Attend different capacity building activities, meeting, training and workshops.
∎ Monitor expenditures (monthly, quarterly).
∎ Support finance person for budget preparation and tracking
∎ Managing staff time and support periodical audit
∎ Ensure HR management
∎ Coordinate & ensure effective administration and finance.
∎ Responsible for all camps related information recording, store, update, verification and cross check.
∎ Represent CODEC camp level Safety Security focal and ensure despising project and Staff security issue.
∎ Conduct monthly field coordinate on meeting to review and assessment of the progress.
∎ Maintain liaison with camp office level Government Official/NGO officials' local elite and other key formal and informal leaders in the area.
∎ Keep the communication channel open to the relevant staffs to provide support and to receive support.
∎ Periodical check of Centre infrastructure and take necessary measure with the advice of HO.
∎ Coordinate all types of program visits by different stakeholders.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 50 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 5 year of experience as Project Coordinator or a similar role
∎ Experience on Agricultural sector/ Aquaculture Sector
∎ Strong ability in problem solving and decision-making.
∎ Planning, budgeting, and financial management skills
∎ Team building, HR management skills
∎ Supportive supervision and motivation skill.
∎ Skilled in documentation, facilitation, presentation & reporting.
∎ Motorcycle driving skills and willing to drive motorcycle in the field with valid driving license.
∎ Computer (MS word, excel, PowerPoint, email, internet etc ) knowledge
∎ Strong report writing skills both Bangla and English.
∎ Mentality to work in any of the Upazilla under Cox'sBazar district
∎ Strong team-work approach
∎ Knowledge of the local language.

Salary: Tk. 100000 (Monthly)
