∎ WorldFish is seeking a motivated, dynamic and energetic team player whom will be responsible to support the program implementation for the Feed the Future Bangladesh Aquaculture & Nutrition Activity (BANA)
∎ Eligibility, Location and Duration:
∎ This position will be based at WorldFish`s Country Office in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Interviews are expected to be held in February 2020. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified and expected to attend the interview. The successful candidate should be available to commence as soon as possible for an initial two (2) yearsfixed term contract, with the possibility of contract renewal depending on performance and funding availability.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Track and review sub-grant inquiries and route them to the Senior Manager- Market Systems and Chief of Party (COP) and follow up with applicants regarding solicited proposals. Where needed and appropriate, conduct additional research into the topic and/or applicant.
∎ Prepare monthly report on status of sub grantees
∎ Recommend Information and Communication (ICT) application to attain objectives of the Activity and ensure the use of it.
∎ Prepare background papers, talking points, and similar for the COP.
∎ Support design and implementation of cross-cutting program activities.
∎ Responsible to plan and implement special events and consultancies.
∎ Develop reports to present BANA performance and respond to USAID's frequent adhoc requests in conjunction with the COP.
∎ Facilitate relationship building and strengthen relationships and partnerships between existing units of the project.
∎ Coordinate with project technical specialists and other units for effective program integration and quality implementation.
∎ Responsible to review monthly reports/work plan/annual report/training reports submitted by the project units and provide comments/feedback to COP on regular basis.
∎ Produce legal documents including public-private partner Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) , Letter of Agreement (LOA), lease agreements etc.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 3 to 4 years' paid work experience with excellent interpersonal communication and team work skills.
∎ Multi task and flexible to work related to project management and assist the market systems component of the Activity.
∎ Ability to write quality drafts in English and Bangla for reports, letters, and other official documents.
∎ Excellent computer skills and ICT usage.
∎ Innovative and proactive in thinking and follow instructions with minimum direction.
∎ Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and a positive and can-do attitude towards tasks beyond the job description.
Salary:
∎ This is a Nationally Recruited Staff (NRS) position with annual salary ranging between BDT 920,343 - BDT 1,005,684 per annum.
