∎ A new modification has been signed between USAID and Winrock International under which Bangladesh Counter Trafficking-In-Persons program will address Trafficking-in-Persons among Rohingya refugees and host communities. The program will address gaps in support of victims of TIP, child marriage and gender-based violence by designing activities that fall under each of the four "Ps" - Prevention, Protection, Prosecution and Partnership.
∎ Winrock`s Bangladesh Counter Trafficking-in-Persons (BC/TIP) Project is currently recruiting for the position of a full-time Program Officer- Prevention in its Dhaka office to support the implementation of activities related to Prevention component of the BC/TIP program.
∎ The position holder will contribute to the effective project implementation, major focus will be on close monitoring of partner organizations activities, coordinate national level activities and maintain proper records and documentation in adherence with Winrock and USAID procedures.
∎ POSITION SUMMARY: The Program Officer- Prevention will contribute in the implementation of all sub-set of activities designed under the Prevention component and coordinate relevant activities and maintain organized records and documentation under the BC/TIP program.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ As a core member of BC/TIP, provide programmatic effort to ensure timely and high-quality implementation of prevention activities according to the approved workplan;
∎ Spend 80% of time in the BC/TIP working areas to observe the work of the implementing partners and provide guidance to them, as necessary;
∎ Assist in preparing technical reports, quarterly and annual reports, newsletters, press-release and updates for the donor;
∎ Assist in the development and dissemination of projects deliverables in coordination with BC/TIP staff and implementing partners;
∎ In collaboration with other staffs, partners and survivors, design, test and disseminate communications materials for different types of audiences, including peer leaders, at-risk groups, survivors, and other stakeholders;
∎ Develop strategic communications content including impact stories, infographics, social media commentary, videos, photo stories, newsletter, and other communication materials;
∎ Collect required data and information to capture success stories of the BC/TIP program;
∎ Monitor trafficking and migration news in media and assist in preparation of analysis reports;
∎ Contribute to implementation of BC/TIP branding and marking plan in collaboration with USAID, government and other key stakeholders;
∎ Assist in the implementation of BC/TIP public affairs activities including press and media communication, media database maintenance, and follow up media coverage;
∎ Conduct field visits to support and monitor the implementation of trafficking prevention activities;
∎ Organize and maintain all records and files in accordance with Winrock and USAID requirements; and
∎ Other duties, as assigned.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum three years of professional experience in community mobilization and communications or program support in a development sector program (INGO/UN /USAID, preferred);
∎ Experience working with international NGOs or UN agencies addressing trafficking-in-persons, migration, or other related issues in Bangladesh preferred;
∎ Extensive experience organizing events highly desirable;
∎ Knowledge of and experience with media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods;
∎ Organized, detail oriented and able to multi-task to meet deadlines;
∎ Flexible, self-motivated and able to work with little supervision;
∎ Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in teams and multi-cultural environments;
∎ Computer proficiency: Microsoft Office, databases, graphics design software (like adobe illustrator), email and internet, Bengali Typing using Bijoy; and
∎ Fluency in English and Bangla required.
