Educational Requirements:
∎ The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification (master degree) or equivalent in a relevant education/ discipline (law, management, economics, development studies, social science or similar) plus at least five years of practical experience in a small/medium sized organization in a leadership role.
∎ Excellent English language spoken and written.

Job Context:
∎ Job Location WRC Office Uttara, Dhaka or as required
∎ Nature of job : Fixed term Contract basis

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for office administration, managing trainings, workshops and financial accountability of the WRC as well as providing leadership for the organization. This is the key liaison role with National Trade Union Centers, Sectorial Federations, the ILO, Development partners and potential donors.
∎ Work in accordance with the work plan and individually designated roles within the work plan for training team.
∎ Coordinate a set number of courses per year

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Professional and independent
∎ Commitment and passion to improve workers' right and welfare.
∎ Previous successful management of a small/medium non-government or trade union organization, including good governance, strategic planning, operational planning and risk assessment.
∎ Sound financial and HR management experience, especially the building of the teamwork and achievement of objectives.
∎ A commitment to the central role of trade unions in a tripartite process and to social dialogue in building a more prosperous society.
∎ Good communication skill and ability to relate to, and manage, key stakeholders while ensuring the integrity and professionalism of the organization.
∎ Technical expertise in education/training/ campaign and demonstrated capacity to deliver innovative training various level of complexity (workers, union members, union leaders, federation officials )
∎ Proven writing skills (policy guidelines or training materials) and communications skills (presentations, speeches, education)
∎ Desirable:
∎ Knowledge of NCCWE national centers, Industrial ALL Bangladesh Council federations and others RMG union federations and others RMG/other union federations.
∎ Knowledge of the ILO standards, International labor standards, Labor Law (BLA) and other relevant legislation.
∎ Understanding of industrial relations and OSH principles and application.
∎ Experience in organizing worker's training, workshops etc.
∎ Experience with media.

Salary:
∎ Negotiable
∎ Salary Range (6 digit and Negotiable)
