Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred)
Minimum 8 years of teaching experience
Prior leadership experience (Coordinator / Vice Principal / Senior Teacher)
Strong understanding of classroom practice and teacher development
Strong understanding of the NCTB curriculum and the government norms and regulations for running primary and secondary schools

Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Teaching & Learning
Ensure consistent, high-quality lesson planning and classroom delivery
Conduct regular classroom observations and provide actionable feedback
Drive measurable improvement in student learning outcomes
2. Build & Retain a Strong Teaching Team
Support teachers through coaching, feedback, and accountability
Maintain high teacher attendance and minimize reliance on proxy classes
Build a culture of ownership, discipline, and continuous improvement
Ensure strong teacher retention through engagement and support
3. Run a Well-Organized School
Oversee academic calendars, exam plans, duty rosters, and school routines
Ensure smooth day-to-day operations with clear systems and structure
Maintain accurate and updated documentation (academic and administrative)
4. Strengthen School Culture & Relationships
Build a respectful, structured, and positive learning environment
Ensure strong parent engagement and satisfaction
Address challenges with clarity, fairness, and consistency
5. Data-Driven School Improvement
Track student performance, attendance, and teacher effectiveness
Use data to identify gaps and implement targeted improvements
Ensure regular reporting and evidence-based decision-making
6. External Relations & Strategic Partnerships
Maintain strong liaison with local education offices to stay updated on policies, regulations, and official directives
Ensure school operations remain aligned with government rules and requirements
Build collaboration with local government and non-government schools
Develop partnerships with relevant organizations and networks to enhance teaching quality and student opportunities
Enable students to participate and excel in local, regional, and national-level events
Represent the school externally and contribute to building a strong national-level reputation
