Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum B.Sc in physics or Engineering Background.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Analyzing the needs, strengths, and weaknesses of students and structuring lessons and assessments around them.
∎ Supervising lab sessions, delivering practical demonstrations, and accompanying students on field trips.
∎ Demonstrating concepts through hands-on activities in the classroom
∎ Attending meetings, training sessions and other continuing education initiatives.
∎ Create lesson plans for students and reviews lesson plans for the week and ensures that the classroom is prepared for the needs of the lesson plans.
∎ Grade student tests/exams.
∎ Provide general instruction and guidance to students and create a classroom environment conducive to learning and education.
∎ Write progress reports for students.
∎ Create tests/exam papers for students.
∎ Assign essays and homework to students.
∎ Comfortable conducting meetings with parents to review a student's progress and student performance.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Candidates must have proper knowledge of Physics CAIE Syllabus of both O & A level.
∎ Long-term commitment towards the institution.
∎ Comfortable working with students of different levels.
∎ Teaching students about topics such as physics principles, laws, theories, and formulas
∎ Must be able to work well in a team.
∎ Willing to do all the works assigned by the section management and School Management.
∎ Keeping abreast of developments and research in the field, and using this to ensure lessons are relevant.
∎ Experience candidates will be given priority
∎ CAIE Training and Experienced in teaching O & A levels will be given preferences.
∎ Excellent fluency both in spoken & written English.
∎ Must be dedicated and punctual.
∎ Tutoring experience would be advantageous.
∎ Should be active, willing to work under pressure and within short deadline.
∎ Training on teaching-methodology and technique will be an added advantage.
