• Age 25 to 30 years

• Candidates with relevant phlebotomy training or experience will be preferred.

Job Responsibilities

• Collect blood and other clinical samples from patients accurately and safely.

• Perform venipuncture and other sample collection procedures following standard protocols.

• Properly label, handle, preserve, and transport collected samples.

• Ensure proper identification of patients before sample collection.

• Maintain hygiene, infection prevention, and laboratory safety standards.

• Provide professional and courteous service to patients and attendants.

• Handle patients who may be anxious, elderly, pediatric, or difficult to draw blood from with care and patience.

• Maintain daily sample collection records and relevant documentation.

• Coordinate with the Laboratory/Pathology Department regarding sample processing and reporting.

• Ensure proper disposal of needles, syringes, and other biomedical waste according to hospital policy.

• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the sample collection area and equipment.

• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor/department head.
