Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in medical technology or pharmacy from an accredited academic institution.
∎ At least three years’ experience in pharmacy and dispensing work.
∎ Previous experience in international organization is an advantage.
∎ Knowledge and experience of working in the field and medical emergency department and Trauma management will be added as advantage.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure medicine stock management for the assigned clinic/ health facility.
∎ Ensure medicine dispense according to guidelines and prescription of the doctors.
∎ Keep records for medicine consumption and update registers regularly.
∎ Maintain proper temperature and humidity for medicine warehouse/store.
∎ Assist in ensuring Quality Assurance in medicinal and supply management.
∎ Timely produce procurement request maintaining buffer stocks.
∎ Take timely measures to avoid stock-out and expiry of medicines and supplies.
∎ Maintain statistics and indicators in order to monitor performance, risk assessment, workload management and communicate to relevant parties.
∎ Maintain register, data entry into database, records of laboratory test results, and reporting of laboratory results.
∎ Prepare pharmaceutical inventory for supplies and maintain the stock list.
∎ Strictly follow DGHS and IFRC standards with respect to customer-friendly services, confidentialities of medical information, ethical standards and healthy working environment.
∎ Ensures smooth operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories;
∎ Participating in field missions out of duty station, when/where required.
∎ Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum Two (2) years working experience in hospitals, clinics, health centers, etc.
∎ Experience in supporting emergency response is desired.
∎ Fluency in both spoken and written Bangla and English languages,knowledge of the local dialect (Chittagonian) would be an asset.
∎ Good computer skills, especially in MS Office and data entry templates.
∎ Priority will be given to the candidates who demonstrate a high level of motivation, good communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Honesty and high level of professional integrity.
Salary: Tk. 45000 (Monthly)
