Job Context:
∎ Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is one of the leading development organizations in Bangladesh. Health Sector of DAM is running drug treatment and rehabilitation centers and implementing Tobacco Control Program along with it`s other program like primary health care program, communicable and non-communicable diseases prevention program, nutrition program and mental health care program. DAM is going to implement the "USAID Feed the Future Bangladesh Nutrition Activities (BNA) Project" and looking for competent and self-motivated individual for the following position.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for coordinating /leading meetings with growth centers and catchment area actors (vendors, consumers, MMCs, SMCs, local government institutes, CBOs etc.
∎ Will ensure effective market and community in relation with Community program involving community people.
∎ Arrange Market and community seeking behavior change program among population.
∎ Responsible for maintaining linkage, liaison and coordination with govt. official, partner organizations at the GCs and catchment areas with the consultation of Area Specialist.
∎ Organize and implement outreach activities of the project, holding meeting/ review. sessions with the project staff in relation to BNA Project in the GCs and communities.
∎ Visit to project area to monitor and evaluate the implementation of project program and provide necessary guidance and technical assistance for proper implementation.
∎ Initiate necessary activities to upgrade quality of activities and performance.
∎ Prepare and monitor monthly/periodical report to keep Area Specialist informed about the program progress.
∎ Assist Area Specialist in performing their functions smoothly.
∎ To keep constant contact/ liaison with Area specialist and TD.
∎ Field Visit (daily, weekly, monthly) as when and where necessary to the adjacent area of the project and prepare the visit reports, send them to Area Specialist.
∎ To prepare/supervise the monthly and quarterly reports of all activities with consultation of area Specialist and other concerned staff.
∎ To ensure that all kinds of information are timely sent to the Area Specialist.
∎ Perform other duties as and when necessary/needed or assigned to you for the BNA- DAM.
∎ Write down day to day work of the program in register as when and where necessary.
∎ Prepare daily, weekly, monthly reports as when and where necessary and send them to Area Specialist and TD.
∎ Take initiative to make clear understanding about BNA Project.
∎ Take effective field visit as per monthly work plan.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 2 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree OR the equivalent combination of education and experience.
∎ Demonstrated leadership, team building, and team management leading to high quality work in a timely, cost-effective manner.
∎ Experienced writing, organizational, interpersonal communication, and computer skills and filed program report.
∎ Experience with USAID-funded programs.
∎ Ability oral and written English language skills for field reporting and communication.
∎ Ability to drive motorbike with valid driving license.
Salary:
∎ Tk. 30000 (Monthly)
∎ Other admissible benefits will be provide as per organizational policy and project fund availability
