∎ Job Location: Upazilla level of Patuakhali district.
∎ Job Context: Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is one of the leading development organizations in Bangladesh. Health Sector of DAM is running drug treatment and rehabilitation centers and implementing Tobacco Control Program along with its other program like primary health care program, communicable and non-communicable diseases prevention program, nutrition program and mental health care program. DAM has been implementing the "USAID Feed the Future Bangladesh Nutrition Activities (BNA) Project" and looking for competent and self-motivated individual for the position.
∎ Job Summary: Outreach Specialist will be responsible for providing necessary support to Bangladesh Nutrition Activity Upazilla level. She/he will closely work with the Growth centers/rural markets, BNA district team and will support her/his supervisor in daily operations.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for Upazilla level all Market and Community level BNA activities as per annual work plan.
∎ Prepare monthly planning, implement the activities in time and report to supervisors.
∎ Organize and conduct various training, orientation, meeting, coaching with the vendors, women groups& community peoples as per plan.
∎ Support project activities through regular field visit.
∎ Regular field visit for planned activities implementation.
∎ Prepare daily, weekly, monthly reports and submit to her/his supervisor in time.
∎ Regular data collection from filed and input to Kobo link or as per assigned link, apps or website.
∎ Develop linkage with the market system actors for better achievements.
∎ Prepare regular insight story, success story and submit in time.
∎ Maintain regular coordination and communication with the government field officials like; UP Chairman, UNO, UH&FPO, Agriculture, DPHE and other relevant stakeholders like; MMC, BA, Religious leaders, donors and other BNA Partner filed personnel etc.
∎ Conduct various awareness event through Miking, audio visual aids, display etc.
∎ Submit to report and bill Boucher in time.
∎ Participate in the government monthly coordination meeting at Upazilla level.
∎ Maintain regular communication with direct supervisor and Technical Director.
∎ Perform any other duties as per assign by the authority.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Minimum 03 (Three) years' experience in similar position in NGO.
∎ Able to drive motor bike with valid driving license.
∎ Have motivation to stay at Upazilla level and work with market vendors & also community peoples.
∎ Working experience with USAID funded nutrition, market system project will add value.
∎ Excellent computer skills in word, excel and internet using is an advantage.
Salary: Tk. 30000 (Monthly)
