• Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Power / Chemical Engineering, or B.Sc. / Honours / Pass Course from a reputed university.

• Science background in SSC/HSC is preferred.

• Experience: At least 2 to 4 years of hands-on working experience as an Operator in the Solid Dosage (OSD) section of a reputed, GMP-certified pharmaceutical manufacturing plant.

• Fresh candidates with exceptional technical diplomas and strong aptitude may be considered for trainee positions.

• Sound knowledge of pharmaceutical cGMP, GDP, and regulatory compliance.

• Ability to work in rotating shifts (Morning, Evening, Night).

• Good physical stamina and attention to detail.

• Strong team player with good communication skills.

Job Responsibilities

• Machine Operation: Independently operate and monitor high-speed Tablet Compression machines and Tablet Coating machines in compliance with cGMP standards.

• Process Parameters: Set up, adjust, and monitor critical process parameters (such as compression force, turret speed, spray rate, pan speed, and inlet/exhaust air temperatures) to ensure tablets meet strict weight, hardness, thickness, and disintegration specifications.

• Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot mechanical or processing issues during compression (e.g., sticking, picking, capping, lamination) and coating (e.g., orange peel, twinning, chipping) to minimize downtime.

• Cleaning & Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning, sanitization, and changeover of machine parts (punches, dies, spray guns, peristaltic pumps) as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Documentation: Accurately maintain Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), equipment logbooks, and line-clearance checklists in real time.

• Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to cGMP, GDP, EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) guidelines, and use proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
