Responsibilities & Context
Research current fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and styles to create innovative designs.
Develop original design concepts, sketches, and mood boards.
Select appropriate fabrics, trims, and materials for each design.
Collaborate with production and merchandising teams to ensure design feasibility.
Oversee sample development and make necessary adjustments.
Ensure designs meet brand identity, quality standards, and customer preferences.
Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers for sourcing materials.
Prepare technical specifications and detailed design documents.
Monitor market trends and competitor products.
Maintain timelines to ensure timely delivery of collections.
Participate in fittings and provide feedback for improvements.
Ensurecost-effectivenessandproductionefficiencyofdesigns.
Create 3D garment designs, virtual samples, and realistic garment simulations using CLO 3D.
Develop professional fashion illustrations, technical sketches, and digital artwork using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.\
Create digital mood boards, color palettes, textile prints, patterns, and graphic designs.
Prepare detailed 2D technical flats, garment specifications, and production-ready design presentations.
Apply 3D visualization techniques for fabric draping, texture mapping, fitting, and garment construction.
Develop creative graphics, layouts, and visual presentations using CorelDRAW, Adobe InDesign, and other graphic design software.
Convert design concepts into realistic 3D prototypes and digital fashion presentations.
