Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Restaurant Manager plans, organize, control and direct the work of employees in the Hotel's All-Day or Fine Dining Restaurant while ensuring guest satisfaction. Works quickly in high-pressure environment and ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
∎ Ability to be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts.
∎ Describe and ensure quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits in an elegantly appointed environment dedicated to an attentive and distinctive experience for breakfast, lunch, or dinner
∎ Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory and cash control
∎ Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees in the Restaurant to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met: long-range strategic planning for outlet operation.
∎ The ability to work closely with the Hotel Manager, Executive Chef and Sous Chefs to design effective menu and amenity options while ensuring excellent product quality at a fair price and attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments

∎ Process the payroll and gratuity reports as required
∎ Observe physical condition of facilities and equipment in the banquet area and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed.
∎ Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ 5-10 years of experience in hotel culinary operations and should have worked with five-star properties across Bangladesh or overseas.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hotel or Hospital or other Hospitality sector
∎ Excellent organizational and leadership skills, Hard Worker, Hotel/ Restaurant Management, Presentation Skill
∎ Experience may be considered equivalent if experience demonstrated increased depth and breadth of responsibility
∎ A Project Management Professional (PMP) certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI) can be used in lieu of the educational requirements
∎ Addressing operational concerns and issues, monitoring overall customer satisfaction
∎ Analyzing training needs/requirements
∎ Excellent interpersonal communication and organizing skills to coordinate project activities
∎ Ability to communicate with others effectively
∎ Ability to conduct research for special projects, respond timely inquiries, and present written/ oral briefings
∎ Ability to work with details and time-sensitive issues
∎ Good decision-making skills and response to high-pressure situations
∎ Proven customer service experience as a manager
∎ Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff
∎ Familiarity with restaurant management software's
∎ Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
∎ Acute financial management skills
∎ Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, partners, and employees
∎ Have knowledge of food & beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting.
∎ Requires ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems.
∎ Previous union experience desired.
∎ Required to have high analytical and organizational skills.
∎ Speaking, writing, and reading English is required.
∎ This position requires an applicant with a flexible schedule and the ability to work different shifts and some weekends.
