Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The candidate must be able to handle all VAT & Tax related works of the company independently in a timely manner.
∎ Ensure proper compliance as per Bangladesh Income Tax Law and VAT Act.
∎ Adapt to concerns relating to new Tax & VAT rules, SROs and amendments.
∎ Ensure monthly/ half yearly/ yearly Tax & VAT returns.
∎ Assist Tax & VAT related works with the factory & monitoring calculations.
∎ Regularly reviewing the application of Tax and VAT in the company and its systems and making updates and improvements where necessary.
∎ Identifying areas where the company and businesses can reduce tax, make claims, and increase profit.
∎ Liaise with regulatory authorities as necessary.
∎ Perform any other duties as assigned by the management.

In this role, you will actively lead on all Vat and tax related activities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory legislative requirements.
