∎ Knowledge of budgeting, budget oversight, accounting principles and practical application of financial systems, experience in administrative and logistic work.
∎ Minimum of 5 years work experience in a related field.
∎ Experience of working for a humanitarian aid organisation.
∎ Strong project management and proven coordination skills.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Purpose: The Officer- DRR is to support implementation of project activities in coordination and consultation with Project Delegate and Senior Officer – Program Management and also in close coordination with BDRCS counterparts (Cox’s Bazar Unit, Population Movement Operation [PMO] and Myanmar Refugee Relief Operation [MRRO]) and be responsible for implementation of the project activities in Cox’s Bazar.
∎ The overall responsibility of the Officer- DRR will ensure adherence to GRC, IFRC and BDRCS standards, policies and regulations. He/She is responsible for day-to-day progress and implementation of the project, ensuring that work plan is well understood and implemented accordingly with the highest standards of service, quality of financial and administrative management, and accountability, thus contributing to the overall efficient and effective running of the project.
